It feels like just yesterday I got back from an amazing week in London and I have to admit - I had the time of my life!  As I was reflecting on the trip, the experience, and the incredible women I had the opportunity to finally meet in person, I realized that there are five main lessons that shaped my own success and helped me build the business I have today.

This is possible for you, too!

Lesson #1: You may be in business for yourself but you don't have to do it by yourself.

When I stepped into entrepreneurship, I thought the journey would be long and lonely. Many of you know I started my journey in the fitness industry, which is a pretty competitive space.

Before I joined a group program six months ago, I didn't realize how truly critical it was to surround myself with like-minded, supportive women who were on the same journey as me.

It is SO important to seek help and surround ourselves with community, and I cannot imagine my life without these women.

Jim Rohn famously said that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with, and I'm confident that this is true. Who are you allowing to influence you?

Lesson #2: Balance doesn't actually exist, but work and play totally go together

I realized how truly important it is to not just work but also to play. I went to amazing dinners, had an incredible photo shoot, and I just spent time pausing, staying present, and truly enjoying every moment.

I'll be honest, I didn't realize how much I needed to take time for me.

When I'm enjoying life, I am more creative. I am more fun to be around. I'm a better wife, mom, and friend. And I'm a better leader for my amazing team (who, let's be honest, made this all possible!)

Lesson #3: The life you want is totally possible

I knew I had big dreams and crazy goals to help women around the world, but I had no idea what that would look like. And now, to look back and see how far I've come… it's truly amazing. I'm living proof that this is possible.

And here's the best part: there's nothing special about me. Seriously! If I can do it, you can too!

Lesson #4: When you step into your calling, you give other women permission to do the same!

I've heard from so many of you how inspired you've been by my story and my journey.

Maybe you're feeling the same way... I remember when I first discovered my own business coach, I was so inspired by all that she had accomplished and watching her made me realize that it was totally possible for me, too.It feels like just yesterday I got back from an amazing week in London and I have to admit - I had the time of my life!

As I was reflecting on the trip, the experience, and the incredible women I had the opportunity to finally meet in person, I realized that there are five main lessons that shaped my own success and helped me build the business I have today.

Lesson #5: The purpose driven life is the only one worth living.

The journey from there to here hasn't been easy. The road has been long and windy, the struggle has been real, and the roller coaster has left me feeling queasy at times.

But I can confidently say that each stepping stone in each season had its purpose.

If I hadn't been there then I wouldn't be here. Trusting the Lord during some of those hard times was incredibly difficult. "Why" was a consistent theme in many of my prayers.

But when you know you're living your purpose, you keep moving forward.

I believe that each of us was created to do great things.

You were created to do great things.

Today, it's time to stop sitting on the sidelines and start taking action toward your calling.

XOXO,

Rachel
