A few weeks ago, I turned down an AMAZING opportunity to attend the Oscars with my biz BFF Noor Hibbert. For those of you who don't know her story, Noor created a six-figure business while on maternity leave when she created and began selling... wait for it... beard oil!

Her product is so spectacular that the organizers of the Academy Awards decided to put it in all the celebrity-suite gift bags! Noor generously invited me to join her in the celebrity suite so we could both spend time with the stars! I was beyond touched that she wanted to include me in her special day!

Yet when it came time for me to make the decision whether or not to attend the Oscars, I realized that my BEST YES for that weekend didn't involve traveling across the country and being away from my daughter and husband.

In years past, I might have TORTURED myself over saying no to this chance! I mean, it's not everyday that you get an opportunity like this.

But, as my business has grown this year, I've realized that it's incredibly important to keep my activities in alignment with my values.

And honestly, spending that weekend with my family was my priority!

I'll be heading to California this weekend and will get to see Noor {and my other mastermind sisters} at Brendon Burchard's High Performance Academy {can't wait to share all the strategies I learn there with you!!!}, and I've also got trips planned to Santa Barbara, New York, and Paris this year!

I'm not a woman who loves saying "no" to opportunities, but I've realized that when I say "no" to one thing, I'm actually saying "yes" to another. In hindsight, I'm really glad I said "no" to the Oscars and "yes" to these gorgeous people.

How can you honor your priorities this weekend and give your BEST YES?

XOXO,

Rachel
