Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte

Working moms, mompreneurs, women everywhere - let's be real - who's excited about everything PUMPKIN?! {Or as my baby girl likes to call it, "punkin"!!} Seriously, fall is one of my most favorite times of the year. The weather is starting to cool off but the sun is still shining. The leaves on the trees are changing. I'm unpacking my scarves and boots. Football season is in full swing {ok, so let's be honest, that doesn't make a difference to me, but my husband sure is excited!}, and of course, the pumpkin spice latte that we've all been craving has finally ARRIVED!!!

I'm a BIG fan of Starbucks {in fact, you'll often find me blogging at the local coffee shop} but I'm not a big fan of the pumpkin spice latte. Why? Because of all of the icky extras {a grande has 50 grams of sugar! Eek!!}.

Fortunately, I've got you covered! Here's my favorite version of a healthy pumpkin spice latte! It's so easy to make and I think you'll love this healthy pumpkin spice latte as much as I do!

  • 2 tablespoons ground coffee
  • 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin spice (I love Trader Joe's* version)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk (whatever kind you like - almond, coconut, nonfat, etc)
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

Combine the coffee and the pumpkin spice and brew as usual with water. Pour the maple syrup in the bottom of your cup with the vanilla extract and pour the hot coffee over that. Add 1 cup of warm milk and stir. Yum!!! Enjoy your healthy pumpkin spice latte!

Now I have to be honest with you - I don't drink these very often {they are just a little too sweet for this plain iced latte girl} but I definitely enjoy them from time to time!

Are you obsessed with everything pumpkin? Have you had your pumpkin spice latte fix yet this season? What's your favorite pumpkin treat?
