What Valentine's Day is all about!

I’m really feeling those Valentine’s Day vibes this week! It just gives me so many warm fuzzies.

Now look… I know Valentine’s Day isn’t everyone’s favorite. But the way I see it, whether you enjoy the candy and hearts or not, it’s such a great reminder to tell people you care and appreciate them (which is something we should do EVERY day!)

Speaking of telling people you appreciate them… I’m taking a quick break from picking out Valentine’s for my daughter’s class + snuggling up with baby boy to tell YOU how much I appreciate you!

You are such a joy! I am so honored that you trust me to help you grow your business. Being a part of your journey is a dream, and I am so incredibly grateful for you!

Thank you for including me in your life and showing up each day as your lovely, wonderful self. You are amazing!

XOXO,
Rachel

3 Myths about Facebook Ads that you should Forget

3 Myths about Facebook Ads that you should Forget.jpg

If you’ve been hanging out with me for awhile, then you know I LOVE Facebook Ads. They are hands down the fastest way to grow your business.

Why? Because… a profitable FB ads campaign = massive (and fast!) list growth = more revenue in your business!

But I’ve noticed something.

A lot of coaches and course creators avoid FB ads like the plague… and it’s because they buy into one of these three myths.

Let’s bust them, shall we?

MYTH #1: YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BIG BUDGET TO USE FB ADS

Given I’ve personally experienced the power of FB ads both in my own business and by watching my students grow their businesses with the platform, I’m always bummed when I see powerful lady bosses turning away from advertising because of budget.

There are SO many people out there who aren’t advertising on FB because they feel they have to be spending thousands in order to make it work! But guess what? With the right strategy, you can see a return on investment with as little as $5/day!

You don’t need to be spending thousands to grow your list. You just need to target the right audience with the right messaging and offer. When your strategy is on point, your ads will flourish (without costing you the big bucks!).

MYTH #2: YOUR ADS SHOULD WORK PERFECTLY THE FIRST TIME

FB Ads are a science experiment! It takes testing, tweaking, and patience. But here’s the good news… the numbers don’t lie! Which means you have all of the data you need to make your experiment work.

Pick one goal for your ads and stick to it for 4 weeks. Over that time, test and optimize your ads for that specific goal! If you aren’t meeting your goal, try attacking it from a different angle: tweak your audience, change up your imagery, update your messaging, etc. It’s all about finding the right ingredients to hit your goal!

MYTH #3: FB ADS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE

If you’re worried about paying to grow your business, here’s the hard truth, friend:

Growing your list organically is more expensive. How? Think of all the time, energy, effort, and content you have to create to do it! How much is that time and effort worth? Where else could you be focusing instead?

FB Ads can do the same job in a fraction of the time. What is that worth?

There you have it -- Now you know the truth about FB Ads! Are you ready to dive in and start leveraging their power to grow your business? If so, I’ve got a new free masterclass with your name on it!

Baby boy update!

Baby boy update!

As you know, we welcomed baby boy into the world last month! We are so in love with him and have been enjoying our time together as a family!

Due to a breathing issue, baby boy spent his first few weeks in the NICU. The good news is, after lots of tests, lots of prayer, and lots of time with the amazing nurses and staff, we’re HOME!!

Because of everything that’s been going on, I’ve been taking time away from work this month, and let me tell you… it has been SO crucial. Not only have I been able to recover, be here for baby boy, and spend this time with my family… but I’ve been able to do all of that without having to worrying about “going back to work” online or if I could afford to take this time away.

Because here’s the truth, my friend: I would have never been able to take this time away without freaking out if I hadn’t learned how to create a business that didn’t take away from what’s important to me.

I see so many entrepreneurs living the hustle lifestyle. In fact, I WAS one! When I decided to start my own business, I was pregnant with my daughter and already clocking 40+ hours a week at my corporate job.

Needless to say, I was a bit frazzled.

It took a lot of learning, adjusting, and tweaking to create my business in a way that doesn’t cut into family time, allows me to have the flexibility I desire, and still lets me create a massive impact.

But today, I have that business. I have a FB ads system that fills my pipeline while I’m away, which means my business-building machine is running on autopilot! I have a business that allows me to be in the NICU, and be calm and oh-so-present with my little man.

I don’t say this to brag… I say it to show you what’s possible. As you’re scaling your business this year, keep in mind that there’s more to it than the hustle and grind. In fact, you don’t need to hustle and grind! With the right systems and processes in place, you can create a business that impacts thousands without sacrificing the life you want to live.

I believe in you!

XOXO,
Rachel

3 Steps on How to Actually Accomplish your goals

3 Steps on How to Actually Accomplish your goals

3 Steps on How to Actually Accomplish your goals.jpg

If you’ve been hanging around me for awhile, then you know I LOVE setting goals! But here’s the deal: sometimes, we focus a little too much on setting them and not actually achieving them (whoops!).

I want to be sure 2019 is your best year yet, so I’m sharing a bit about how to actually accomplish those big, scary goals we’ve set for this year.

Have you ever heard that “a goal with a plan becomes reality”? It’s so true! When we’re setting goals, we NEED to have a plan. A plan helps us break our goals into smaller, actionable (and manageable!) steps. Once you break down big goals into smaller action items, anything becomes possible!

When I go through this process, I couldn’t live without my 90x Goal Planner. 90x helps me break my goals into 90-day action plans using their easy-to-follow, step-by-step system.

Here’s how I do it:

  1. I choose the goal I want to focus on for the next 90 days

  2. I start to PLAN. I breakdown what I need to do each week and day to make it happen

  3. I reflect + review my progress every single week and make updates as needed.

So what about you? What major goal do YOU have that you can break down into easy steps? Having a plan is the way to make your goals become a reality, friend, so let’s get planning!

XOXO,
Rachel

Don't trust your intuition When it comes to Facebook Ads

Don't trust your intuition When it comes to Facebook Ads

Don't trust your intuition When it comes to Facebook Ads.jpg

You know how people always say to trust your intuition?

In business, it’s so crucial… except for this ONE time.

I’m talking about when you’re running ads.

When it comes to ads, I’m asking you to throw everything you know out the window!

All those gut feelings, all those thoughts about what looks and sounds amazing (I love my photos! My copy is great!), all of those ideas in our heads… they can’t be trusted!

Instead, we’ve got to trust the data. In Facebook Ads, the data doesn’t lie. It tells exactly what we need to know — like if our photos really are amazing and if our copy really does resonate with our people!

I’ve put together a short video on why intuition is hurting your FB ads (and what to focus on instead). Check it out here!

XOXO,
Rachel
