On today's episode I'm interviewing Brooke Rash, aka the Social Celebrity, who is an influencer marketing expert.

From selling to her network on Facebook, Brooke transformed her natural talent into a money-making skill set that created multiple 6-figure businesses. With her 11+ years of experience as a social media influencer, Brooke and her husband Jason grew their network marketing business from 0 - 40,000+ people in under 2 years. Now, Brooke uses her influence to host fundraisers, earn free trips, land speaking gigs, marketing jobs, and has been hired many times as an online promoter, all while using a free account. Brooke shares all of her social marketing secrets in Facebook Famous, a collection of courses that will teach you how to cash in on your own star power.

In this episode you'll hear:

  • How Brooke uses her social media accounts to connect with her audience and make them really feel like they are a part of her sphere of influence.

  • Brooke’s tips on what to share on social media and how to share it so that it feels natural to you and your audience and allows you to connect with them better.

  • The best way, from Brooke’s personal experience, to deal with naysayers when it comes to running your business in this social media age.

    • “You love them from a distance and keep those boundaries in place. Just stay focused on what your goals are and be confident in where you're going and what you want to accomplish; because if you aren't confident then those naysayers will tear you down-- I've seen it happen.”

  • How Brooke used Facebook as a type of “social experiment” to see what people really connected with and interacted with the most and how she used her findings to curate the perfect posts that connected best with her audience that allowed her to grow her influence.

  • How you don’t actually have to be an extrovert to be successful on social media.

    • “I actually think that social media is a great blessing for people who consider themselves to be introverted because you are able to interact with people without necessarily having any social awkwardness; you do have that protection of being behind the screen so you're not necessarily around people absorbing all of their energy and feeling pressure to start a conversation. I always tell people you get to choose your own edit. It's like you're producing your own reality series on social media. So, I think for introverts it's great because it allows you to connect with people that you maybe wouldn't have because you're not necessarily a social butterfly.”
