Rachel McMichael:

Common Business Pitfalls to Avoid in 2020

I'm going to let you in on a little secret about me: I totally geek out when it comes to planning.

Now, you won't find me with a color-coded planner with a bunch of post it notes, because I do it all online with my Google calendar, but I do really love to plan!

In fact, I just finished planning for 2020 and I want to let you in on a few things that we're going to be doing here in our corner of the internet in 2020 to set ourselves up for success.

Today’s episode of the podcast is all about plans and goals for 2020 and how you can avoid some of the common pitfalls business owners make when they plan and set their goals.

I know that as you listen today, you're going to want to take notes, you're going to want to start to think through how this applies to your business, and you're going to want to get ready to make waves in 2020!

I'll be taking you behind the scenes and sharing all the details with you, and I can’t wait to help you get right on track for this New Year!

>> At 2:23, I ask this question: What is the one thing some of the top entrepreneurs in our industry (some who I know personally) did in 2019 to hit the seven-figure mark in their online business? It’s really quite simple and you might be surprised at my answer…

>> At 6:36, I jump in to explaining the first couple of pitfalls I see most entrepreneurs make in their business and how you can avoid these same mistakes in the New Year! Hint: It has to do with planning and focus…but even those of you who hate to plan will find such great value here!

>> At 15:16, I leave you with one final tip as you head into 2020, and I actually like to think of this as my bit of encouragement to you, from one business owner to another. I share all about how failure isn’t failure, it’s opportunity.
