Today on the Business With Impact Podcast, we're going to talk about why creating what your audience wants isn't the fastest way to success.
One of the goals that we set this year in our business was that we wanted to play a different game when it came to content creation—specifically, how we're showing up on social media.
With that comes this idea of consistency on social media. We began asking…what do we want to do on social media? How do we want to approach social media in our business?
This will be a two-part episode as we seek to answer these questions: How do we decide what we're going to do on social media? And then how do we specifically implement what we’ve created.
It’s going to be a great two episodes! Let’s dive in!
At 10:36, after recapping last week’s episode on solving problems (by telling you a real-life example that happened to us last week!), we dive into debunking the first belief around content creation: you have to create what your audience wants.
At 14:10, so many of us are tired of feeling like we have to constantly be tied to our phones on social media in order to be successful in our business. Here we talk about why we don’t believe that to be true… and how we are committed to doing things differently + how you can too!
At 19:23, we move on to debunking another belief around content creation: when we look at what others are doing, we believe what they're doing is working. We see them show up every day and we make an assumption, a real assumption, that it must really be working for them.
