Rachel Mcmichael:

What Being Sick Taught Me About Business

We’re back!

And I am soo excited to be here recording this today. It’s been a crazy month. We received countless emails, DMs, and texts asking where I’ve been and if everything was ok…

Yes, I am… but I wasn’t… and I want to talk about that today.

In today’s episode I’m going to share three lessons that being out sick and grieving the loss of one of my husband’s friends taught me and our family — and the lessons it taught me about being even more intentional about living for my purpose – in my purpose – and on purpose — and I’m going to share how this is changing the way we do business…

Because if you’re listening to this episode right now, I’m guessing that you want to create a business that allows for you to disconnect. A business that helps you prioritize the most important things to you – like your faith and your family – right? While serving the people who need your help the most.

And I don’t have to tell you that so often, we lose sight of these things in the day to day hustle and work-flow.

So I’m using the experiences from this past month as a time to reset – and I’m going to invite you to do the same!

At 7:50, we hit Lesson #1: Are you living your priorities? What does your money say about them? What does your calendar say about them? What does your social media say about them?

At 11:52, we move to Lesson #2: Is your business and are your finances set up in a way that if the unexpected happened to you – you could take time off or things would still work in the background?

At 13:45, we finish with Lesson #3: What’s the most important thing that needs to happen today?
This week’s episode is a lot…but the one thing I want to leave you with is this:

You were divinely created on purpose and for a purpose. It’s time to live in that purpose. And on this podcast, we’re continuing to dive in each week on how you can create a priority-based business with impact. I’m glad to be back, and I’ll see you next week!
